The company has grown geographically and has its plants located at Puneahmednagar Chinchwad Nashik and Coimbatore since its first plant which was set up at Pimpri in Pune. in 1960. The company's own foundry plant is at Ahmednagar in Maharashtra. The company issued and allotted 8701516 Bonus Shares in the proportion of one new Equity Share for every one existing Equity Shares on 5th April 1996. The company's Coimbatore plant which was set up in technical collaboration with Velan Canada is into the manufacture of submersible pumps and valves.From1999 onwards the company discontinued the manufacture of valves of the Velan design.
